Security guard services in Colchester
Colchester is Britain's oldest recorded city — and one of its fastest-growing: a major garrison town home to 16 Air Assault Brigade, the University of Essex on its eastern edge, and a retail and cultural core anchored by the castle. Xtreme Protection delivers SIA-licensed security guard services across Colchester and north Essex.
Our Colchester officers are locally recruited, SIA licensed and BS 7858 vetted — coordinated by our 24/7 command centre with GPS-verified patrols and written reporting on every shift.

The garrison presence shapes the town's security culture: disciplined, licensed officers are the expected standard, and the evening economy's mix of students and service personnel needs experienced, level-headed door teams. The university drives student accommodation and campus event security.
The city centre's retail core needs loss prevention; Colchester Zoo and the town's attractions need visitor-aware security; and the business parks at Severalls and Stanway need corporate cover and out-of-hours patrols. Growth around the A12 keeps construction security deployed.
