Security guard services in York
York welcomes more than seven million visitors a year into a walled medieval centre — and that tourism economy, from the Shambles to the racecourse, defines much of the city's security demand. Xtreme Protection delivers SIA-licensed security guard services across York and North Yorkshire: retail protection, hotel and event security, and out-of-hours cover for the businesses that keep the city running.
Every York officer is SIA licensed, BS 7858 vetted and locally based, with digital patrol verification and photographic reporting as standard.

The visitor economy creates year-round demand: hotels and attractions need overnight and event officers, the racecourse needs experienced event teams on twenty-plus race days, and the city-centre retail core — high-value independents alongside national chains — needs loss prevention that respects the tourist experience.
Beyond the walls, the Clifton Moor and Monks Cross retail and leisure parks need evening patrols and response, the universities at Heslington drive student accommodation security, and the distribution and food-production sites along the A64 need gatehouse and night cover.
